Costa Rica National Parks
La Amistad National Park

La Amistad is a large international park that extends into Panama. It is a melding point of North and South American flora and fauna. It is one of the few parks where you can still see indigenous Costa Ricans dressed in traditional clothing. Much of this park remains unexplored, it has no facilities and few trails. We do not recommend this park without an experienced guide.
